The Early Purple has released his new single ‘The Greek Key’, featuring guest contributions from Sam Fender.
The track sees Northumbrian indie-folk artist Matt Saxon collaborating with Fender, who provides backing vocals, mandolin, bouzouki, and acoustic guitar. Saxon shared the song with Fender while finalising its lyrics and instrumentation.
The Early Purple’s 2024 has included performances at BBC Proms, a residency at the Glasshouse Summer Studios, and tours supporting Flyte, Efterklang and John Francis Flynn.
Saxon, who is also a current member of Little Comets and hosts the Hide & Speak podcast, has also been touring with Hector Gannet and playing festival dates throughout the year.
The Early Purple will headline The Glasshouse in Newcastle on 11th December.
