Waterparks’ Awsten Knight has released two instrumental albums inspired by video game soundtracks through his A.K. Art Projects brand.
The collection, titled ‘Video Game Music’, comprises two volumes featuring 24 tracks in total, with Knight handling both the music production and cover artwork. The albums will be available exclusively for purchase through A.K. Art Projects and will not appear on streaming platforms.
Knight previously discussed the project on social media in January, stating, “I wrote and recorded 26 instrumentals to be the score of a video game before leaving for The Property Tour last May in the vein of ‘Spyro’/’Crash Bandicoot’ because I love that style so if any game developers see this and need music for your project HMU.”
The first volume of ‘Video Game Music’ includes tracks such as ‘Speed Run’, ‘Library Card’, and ‘Portal Town’, while the second volume features songs like ‘Louder Highway’, ‘Cloudtown’, and ‘Crystal Dungeon’. Each album contains twelve instrumental compositions.
