Winter Gardens are teasing their upcoming EP with new single ‘Search Party’

Winter Gardens have announced their latest single ‘Search Party’.

The track is taken from their upcoming EP ‘Uncomfortable/Unlovable’, due 20th March, and sees the Brighton quartet explore themes of trauma and personal growth, inspired by the 2016 dark comedy series of the same name.

The band share a detail from the recording process: “During recording of the track we were having some trouble with the bass. In the end our producer used a soldering iron on a banana skin to both fix the bass guitar and achieve the desired bass tone for the track.”

Winter Gardens have previously supported Echo & The Bunnymen, Gary Numan, and Piroshka, and performed at festivals including Rockaway Beach, Left Of The Dial, Supersonic and The Great Escape. They’ll play The Piper in St Leonards on 2nd February.
