Fleetwood Mac have announced their first authorised documentary, set to arrive via Apple Original Films.
The documentary, which remains untitled, will feature the band telling their own story, including archival interviews with the late Christine McVie. Frank Marshall, who recently directed The Beach Boys documentary for Disney+ and the Bee Gees documentary ‘How Can You Mend a Broken Heart’, will helm the project.
“I am fascinated by how this incredible story of enormous musical achievement came about,” Marshall shares. “Fleetwood Mac somehow managed to merge their often chaotic and almost operatic personal lives into their own tale in real-time, which then became legend. This will be a film about the music and the people who created it.”
The documentary will be produced by Apple Original Films, with further details to be announced.
