Øya Festival have announced the first wave of artists for their 2025 edition, with Chappell Roan set to headline on Wednesday 6th August.
The announcement includes a mix of international and domestic talent, with Khruangbin, Wet Leg, Anna of the North, MJ Lenderman, Anna Lille, and The Impossible Green all confirmed to appear at the Oslo event.
Chappell Roan joins the lineup following the release of her debut album ‘The Rise and Fall of a Midwestern Princess’ in 2023.
The festival, which has been running since 1999, maintains a 50/50 gender split in its programming and operates with strong environmental practices. Located at Tøyenparken, the event runs entirely on renewable energy and recycles 75% of its waste. These initiatives have been recognised with European Festival Awards and A Greener Festival Awards.
