Francis of Delirium have shared their new EP ‘The Soft Versions’, featuring alternative recordings of five tracks from their debut album ‘Lighthouse’.
The EP, recorded at their home studio over the summer, presents stripped-down versions of the original tracks, offering a more understated interpretation of the material.
“Stripping back these songs into ‘Soft Versions’ allowed to me to fall back in love with ‘Lighthouse’ after the past months of intensive touring,” Jana Bahrich explains. “Playing ‘Lighthouse’ live and loud and raw, made me want to see what would happen when doing the opposite. The intimacy and tenderness of the songs really shines through in these versions, and has made me re-connect what the songs are saying.”
The Luxembourg-based artist is set to perform a series of intimate solo headline shows, which will include a pop-up exhibition featuring Bahrich’s original lino-block prints created for ‘Lighthouse’ tracks, alongside other canvas works.
