Matilda Mann has shared one of her favourite songs from her upcoming debut album – check out ‘Dazed & Confused’

Matilda Mann has shared her newest single ‘Dazed & Confused’, taken from her forthcoming debut album ‘Roxwell’.

The track joins previously-released singles ‘Say It Back’, ‘Meet Cute’ and ‘Tell Me That I’m Wrong’ on the 14-track album, which will arrive on 28th February via 7476.

“‘Dazed & Confused’ was the last song written for Roxwell,” Mann explains. “After we wrote the song, we wanted to try playing around with the structure of the song and do things we hadn’t before, like starting with the chorus, having a key change during it, and fading the song out! It’s genuinely one of my favourite tracks on the album, because it just feels so warm and comforting to hear, like the lyrics we wrote.”

Speaking about the album itself, Mann shares: “This is my debut album. Every song feels like a part of me, and I’m so, so excited that it’s finally coming out. It explores various types of love, the experience of growing up and reflecting on the past, the struggle of not being able to give someone your all, getting stuck in the past, and accepting what you can’t change.”

She adds: “It’s everything I want to say and more. Some songs were written almost subconsciously and only came to light when I needed to truly acknowledge my feelings. It’s terrifying to put it out into the world, but I’m also incredibly proud of it and grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life.”
