zzzahara has shared their new single ‘If I Had To Go I Would Leave the Door Closed Half Way’, alongside an accompanying video.

The track is taken from their forthcoming album ‘Spiral Your Way Out’, set for release on 10th January via Lex Records, and follows previous single ‘Ghosts’.

The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter says of the track: “‘I was spitting. The guitar chords and the bass playing really meshed together. I already had the lyrical content just built up inside of me. I was in love with the melody and we cleared it out real quick. I let it spit fire.”

The new record features production work from Jorge Elbrecht (Japanese Breakfast, No Joy, Sky Ferreira), Sarah Tudzin (boygenius, Cloud Nothings, The Armed), former Ducktails guitarist Alex Craig (Jelani Aryeh, re6ce) and Halsey tour drummer Franco Reid.
