Circa Waves pursue success with their new single ‘American Dream’, from upcoming album ‘Death & Love Pt.1’

Circa Waves have released their latest single ‘American Dream’.

The track follows previous single ‘We Made It’ and arrives ahead of the band’s upcoming album ‘Death & Love Pt. 1’, due 31st January, which was largely inspired by frontman Kieran Shudall‘s near-death experience in early 2023. Following a diagnosis of a severely blocked main artery, Shudall underwent heart surgery, leading to cancelled shows and a significant life adjustment.

“American Dream is about the pursuit of what we believe success is,” explains Shudall. “A yearning to get somewhere because we think the grass is greener on the other side only to find that happiness doesn’t lie there. Sometimes you need to fly across the world to gain a true love of home.”

The nine-track album was self-produced by Shudall and engineered by Matt Wiggins. Circa Waves are set to support the release with their largest UK headline tour to date, spanning February and March 2025.
