The Weeknd has unveiled his surreal ‘São Paulo’ video with Anitta for Halloween

The Weeknd has shared new single ‘São Paulo’ alongside a surreal visual featuring Brazilian artist Anitta.

The video, directed by FREEKA, follows a dark narrative centred around a pregnant Anitta, whose belly reveals an emerging face throughout the clip.

The release follows The Weeknd’s recent drops including ‘Timeless’, a collaboration with Playboi Carti produced by Pharrell Williams, and ‘Dancing in the Flames’. Both tracks will feature on his forthcoming album, ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’.

The artist recently performed a sold-out show in São Paulo, which was streamed on YouTube and trended in 24 countries. The concert included appearances from both Anitta and Playboi Carti.
