Wishy have shared new single ‘Planet Popstar’ ahead of their upcoming UK shows

Wishy have shared a new single titled ‘Planet Popstar’, taken from the sessions for their recent debut album ‘Triple Seven’.

The track arrives as the band prepare for their upcoming UK, European and US tour dates, including appearances at both London’s Windmill and Pitchfork London festival.

Speaking about the new track, Wishy’s Kevin Krauter explains: “This song is about the feeling of longing for someone or something which, by all accounts, seems entirely out of reach. They say distance makes the heart grow fonder. We recorded this song during the Triple Seven sessions at the end of last year, but the song ultimately didn’t make it onto the album.”
