Searows has shared a new single, ‘to be seen’.
It’s a cut from his forthcoming EP ‘flush’, set to arrive via Matt Maltese’s label Last Recordings On Earth on 22nd November. The track follows previous singles ‘toothache’ and ‘martingale’, which will also appear on the upcoming release.
Of the new song, the Pacific Northwest singer-songwriter and guitarist explains: “I wrote this song after watching the movie ‘X’. I didn’t have any intention to write a song about that movie, it just ended up seeping into all the lyrics I was writing. The song touches on the physical and emotional visibility of truly being seen by someone you love.”
The EP follows his 2023 EP ‘End Of The World’ and 2022 debut album ‘Guard Dog’. He has also recently supported both Ethel Cain and Gracie Abrams on tour.
