The Last Dinner Party have released ‘Prelude To Ecstasy: Acoustics and Covers’.
It’s a deluxe edition of their Mercury Prize-shortlisted debut album, featuring reimagined versions of the band’s own songs alongside covers of tracks by other artists, including Sparks’ 1974 single ‘This Town Ain’t Big Enough For Both Of Us’.
Accompanying the announcement is an on-the-road video for ‘Portrait of a Dead Girl’, filmed during their recent trip to bassist Georgia’s home country of Australia.
The band are currently on a sold-out tour, which includes three nights at London’s Eventim Apollo. The dates for The Last Dinner Party’s tour are as follows:
