The Greater Good have released their new single ‘Full Grown Man’.
The Manchester-based alt-rock quartet, fronted by Welsh vocalist and songwriter Huw Eddy, enlisted producer Rob Slater for the track, known for his work with Yard Act.
‘Full Grown Man’ explores the pressure to meet societal and personal expectations of adulthood. The lyrics delve into the struggles of self-improvement amidst failed relationships, mental health challenges, and life’s ongoing difficulties.
The band comment on the track’s themes: “The new single is a plea to be “cut some slack” by the judgemental voices in your own mind and around you as you struggle to improve and be the person others can rely on. The realisation is that first you need to be able to rely on yourself.”
