Saturday Night Live have unveiled the hosts and musical guests for the first five episodes of their landmark 50th season, set to commence on 28th September.
The season premiere will see Jean Smart hosting for the first time, with country-rap artist Jelly Roll also making his SNL debut as the musical guest. The following week, on 5th October, comedian Nate Bargatze returns to host, joined by Coldplay, who are scheduled to release their new album ‘Moon Music’ the day prior to their appearance.
For the 12th October episode, Ariana Grande will take on hosting duties, having previously appeared as a musical guest earlier this year. She will be accompanied by rock legend Stevie Nicks as the musical performer. The 19th October show pairs host Michael Keaton with Billie Eilish, who last graced the SNL stage in December 2023.
Rounding out the announced lineup, John Mulaney is set to host for the sixth time on 2nd November, with singer-songwriter Chappell Roan making her first appearance on the long-running NBC programme.
