London indie-punk duo Happy Accidents have released a new single.
‘Blink’ – which follows on from ‘Dog Day’ and ‘Infinite Possibilities’ – is the latest cut from their new album ‘Edit Undo’, set for release on 27th September via Alcopop! Records.
Commenting on the single, guitarist Rich Mandell says: “Blink centres around the moments in between sentences, the hidden meanings, the unspoken. Communicating the most through not speaking at all. Sometimes, words get in the way of what you actually want to say. The verses are full of contradictions – the webs that you can tie yourself up in with words. But sometimes when you say less, it all makes sense.”
The duo shot and directed the official video for ‘Blink’ themselves, with Mandell explaining of the shoot: “Pheebs and I went on a day trip to Dungeness, which I didn’t know anything about, but when we got there I was amazed by this gorgeous setting that felt like a desert. And then we decided to film something!”
