Blair Jollands has released his new single ‘Don’t Cry’.
The London-based singer-songwriter’s latest track draws from blues, rock, Americana and soul, and is taken from his upcomingh album ‘Little Comet’, due 31st October.
Speaking about the song, Jollands says: “This song is about loss… through my own experience and through my empathy with those locked in conflict. We tried using AI to create the canvas of the artwork to build from and that clumsy AI distortion you get in some of the image kind of reflected the sense of relinquishing that control in times of grief so we went with it.”
The release follows Jollands’ recent multi-date headline tour through Europe and Australasia, which included supporting Nick Oliveri and Rose Spearman in The Netherlands. In 2023, he was officially invited to play at SXSW’s Continental Club.
Beyond his music career, Jollands has contributed to various film and television productions, including the Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated ‘Shackleton’, ‘Alien vs Predator’, and the BAFTA-nominated Sky Atlantic series ‘Fortitude’.
