Future Islands have shared their new one-off single ‘Glimpse’

Future Islands have released a new single, ‘Glimpse’.

The Baltimore-based band recorded ‘Glimpse’ during the sessions for their seventh studio album, ‘People Who Aren’t There Anymore’, which was released earlier this year via 4AD. The track explores themes of loss, focusing on a family home burning down and the subsequent emotional and physical aftermath.

Future Islands’ upcoming North American tour begins on 10th September with two sold-out shows in Vancouver and concludes in New Orleans on 29th September. The tour includes several sold-out dates across the West Coast and Southwest.
