The Weeknd has announced his new album ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’, completing his current run of releases.
The forthcoming record follows ‘Dawn FM’ (2022) and ‘After Hours’ (2020), serving as the final chapter in a trilogy of studio albums. ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ is described as exploring existential and self-referential themes.
Alongside the album announcement, The Weeknd is set to open their Halloween Horror Nights experience at Universal Studios Hollywood. The attraction, titled ‘The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy’, will run from 5th September to 3rd November. The experience promises fans “an authentic, one-of-a-kind horror experience with surprises at every turn.”
Additionally, The Weeknd will perform a livestreamed concert from São Paulo, Brazil on 7th September. The show will be broadcast on YouTube at 5pm PT / 8pm ET from the sold-out Estádio Morumbi.
eekndThe Weeknd has pledged to donate 10% of net proceeds from merchandise sales at the event and online to the Brazilian Soul Fund of BrazilFoundation, supporting communities affected by natural disasters and economic hardships in southern Brazil.
