Skegss have booked a special London show at Signature Brew to celebrate new album ‘Pacific Highway Music’

Australian duo Skegss have announced a special UK album release show.

The event – in collaboration with Rough Trade and Signature Brew – is set to take place on 24th September at Signature Brew on Blackhorse Road in London, will feature a live performance from the band, their own ‘Knock Off Lager’ on tap, and a special branded food truck serving a limited Skegss menu.

The gig coincides with the upcoming release of Skegss’ new album ‘Pacific Highway Music’, due out on 18th October via Loma Vista Recordings. The band, consisting of Ben Reed (vocals, guitar) and Jonny Lani (drums), recently released their new single ‘Out Of My Head’, accompanied by a karaoke-style video directed by Vaughan Deadly and Nick Pollet.

Reed commented on the new track, saying: “Don’t get caught up on how someone makes you feel for too long in a negative way, pretend you get to restart life again and go do the things that make you thrive. We all say and do dumb things no matter how wise someone seems. So don’t get too hung up on your mistakes if you recognise them.”

Tickets for the show will go on general sale on 6th September at 10am BST, with Discord members getting first access.
