Down With Boring is heading to Reading Festival this weekend, and we’re pleased to let you in on the Dork faves who will be joining us for the ride.
The podcast that’s been subjecting unsuspecting artists to audio torture masquerading as interviews is ‘doing’ Reading. We’re bringing our special brand of musical mayhem to a festival known for massive bands, questionable life choices, and the occasional outbreak of actual music.
DWB will make its first appearance at the festival on the Sunday, taking place on The Aux stage at 2pm. The new stage is one of two additions to the festival this year, alongside The Chevron, hosting a variety of podcasts, interactive talks, and live streams covering topics from music to pop culture.
We’ll be joined on the day by long term Friends of the Magazine Talk Show, who dropped their Very Good Indeed debut album ‘Effigy’ earlier this year, and fast rising newcomers Daydreamers, who you probably know from their ‘blimey it’s everywhere’ breakthrough single ‘Call Me Up’.
Reading 2024 takes place alongside its Leeds counterpart this coming Bank Holiday Weekend, with appearances from the likes of Lana Del Rey, Fontaines D.C., Blink-182 and loads more. We’ll be on site at the southern leg all weekend bringing you the best in live coverage, interviews, photos and more. Keep tuned to readdork.com for all the action.
