Radio Free Alice have shared their new ‘Polyester’ EP, and a video for ‘Spain’

Naarm/Melbourne band Radio Free Alice have released their new ‘Polyester EP’.

The EP was initially started in Melbourne before being completed during the band’s recent European tour. Recording took place in various impromptu locations including studios, backstage areas, tour vans, street corners, hostel bunk beds and train stations across cities like London, Paris, Bristol, Dublin, Nottingham and in the Czech Republic.

The single ‘Spain’ – for which they’ve also shared a new video – was inspired by an experience frontman Noah Learmonth had while in Europe: watching other holidayers argue.

He explains, “I thought it was funny how arguing at an exotic holiday destination is kind of a staple of middle-class success. Having the luxury of going to a place like Spain only to have a ‘couple’s row’.”

Check out both the new video and the EP below.

Radio Free Alice will be touring Australia in support of the ‘Polyester EP’ this August and September:

24 Bar Yuki, Milton, NSW
