Little Simz is set to curate a special edition of Tate Modern Lates.
The event will take place on 31st August, offering visitors a unique evening of music, conversations, workshops, and more.
The rapper, singer and actor will take over the gallery for the night, presenting a programme that celebrates London’s creative talent and showcases the culture, individuals, and collectives who inspire her.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to hear from Little Simz herself in conversation with broadcaster Clara Amfo, discussing her inspirations, relationship with visual art, and creativity in London.
Little Simz says: “I’m incredibly excited to be curating an evening at Tate Modern. It’s going to be really special. Being able to invite people from all different walks of life into the space to connect through art is powerful. I hope people feel inspired, uplifted and moved by the experience.”
The event is part of Tate Modern’s monthly Lates series, offering free evenings of art, music, and film. Most activities are drop-in, with some requiring free tickets available from 14.00 on 30th August via the Tate website.
