ratbag is back to take on shitty boyfriends with her new single, ‘pinky boy’

ratbag has returned with her first new music of 2024, single ‘pinky boy’.

The track marks ratbag’s first release since their debut EP ‘why aren’t you laughing?’, which came out in December last year.

Speaking about the single, ratbag shares: “‘pinky boy’ is a song about shitty boyfriends and poorly treated pussycats. It describes the dynamic between an unappreciative boyfriend infuriatingly unable to recognise the talent, intelligence and deep coolness of the woman he’s dating.”

The song is accompanied by a video chronicling a day in the life of the titular character, filmed from his perspective.

ratbag have also announced two headline shows in Australia for October. The dates are as follows:
