Rose Gray has released a new track titled ‘Angel of Satisfaction’.
The song is Gray’s second recent release following the single ‘Free’, and arrives as the Walthamstow-based artist, songwriter, and DJ is working on her debut album.
She explains the inspiration behind the song: “[‘Angel of Satisfaction’] plays on the idea of temptation, being blessed, and is loosely based on a dream where an angel visited me with a warning about fame and fortune. ‘Angel of Satisfaction’ is a bit tongue-in-cheek – the idea of whoring for the glory – but it’s also about the darkness in the industry: I’ve felt on the outskirts of this world but have found myself at parties, looking around the room and thinking ‘is this it? Is this everything you wanted?’”
In addition to her music releases, Gray has launched a new club night called Rose presents Gray Selects. The inaugural event is scheduled for 15th August at Arch 298 in Cambridge Heath, London.
