The 1975’s George Daniel has released his debut solo single ‘Screen Cleaner’.

The track arrives via dh2, the new electronic imprint he is leading at the band’s label Dirty Hit, which recently celebrated its launch with a party at Brixton’s Phonox. The event featured performances from the label’s first signing Kelly Lee Owens, alongside Daniel, Oscar Farrell and TimFromTheHouse.

‘Screen Cleaner’ features vocals from Swedish pop artist Tove Lo, who has been particularly active in collaborations this year. Her recent works also include ‘My Oh My’ with Kylie Minogue and Bebe Rexha, and ‘Love Bites’ alongside Nelly Furtado and SG Lewis.

Throughout the summer, Daniel has been showcasing his new material at various events, including appearances with Charli xcx at The Levels at Glastonbury, Boiler Room New York, Ibiza’s Amnesia, and The Floor with Jamie xx at Venue MOT in London.
