South Yorkshire singer-songwriter Sam Scherdel is set to embark on a series of live performances, including a UK tour and a showcase run at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
This announcement follows the viral success of his single ‘Somewhere in the Middle’, which has featured on ITV’s Love Island and is the lead single from his forthcoming EP, ‘Boy Who Fell to Earth’.
Reflecting on the dates, Sam says, “Things are moving so fast right now – it’s honestly surreal. From the song taking off online, to hearing it on Love Island, and now heading to SXSW to represent the North of England… it’s something I never imagined when I first started writing these songs.”
He adds, “Getting to play Austin and then come straight back into this UK tour feels incredible. It really feels like this is just the beginning.”
