Kamal. has teamed up with Keaton Henson on new single ‘no friend, no lover’

Kamal. has unveiled his new single ‘no friend, no lover’, featuring musician, composer, and poet Keaton Henson.

Following his earlier release ‘How The F*** Does Everybody Else Manage’, this track is part of Kamal.’s upcoming debut album, and it delves into themes of identity, vulnerability, and modern life’s complexities.

He explains: “This song is about navigating para-social and unsettling relationships in the digital age; the fake friends that spring up once you start doing well for yourself. People who would previously ignore you, or even behave in an actively hostile manner, are suddenly changed when they realise that you could be of value to them. The lyrics serve as a soft rejection of such fickle friendships.”
