Records For Palestine have launched charity raffles with backing from Fontaines D.C., KNEECAP, Nilüfer Yanya and loads more

Records For Palestine have initiated two online raffles aimed at raising funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP).

Launched on Thursday 5th March, these raffles will run concurrently over two months, featuring 47 prizes collectively. The raffles are divided into two categories: one focusing on alternative, rock and electronic music, and the other on jazz, soul, hip-hop and global groove records.

The initiative has garnered support from over 200 artists and 27 record labels, with contributions from acts such as Fontaines D.C., KNEECAP, Nilüfer Yanya, Ezra Collective, Billy Bragg, Yussef Dayes and Alfa Mist. Record labels including Heavenly, Partisan Records, Cooking Vinyl, Alcopop, Gondwana, Brownswood, and Habibi Funk have also pledged their support through prize donations.

A spokesperson for Records For Palestine stated, “Many artists have been involved in fundraising and raising awareness from the web to the stage. Records For Palestine provides another way for artists, labels, curators and music fans to pledge support, allowing us to raise funds, whilst also giving artists and labels a platform to stand in visible solidarity with Palestinians.”
