Leeds post-punks The 113 have announced new EP ‘The Hedonist’ with their single ‘Scour’

Leeds post-punk group The 113 have announced their forthcoming EP ‘The Hedonist’, set for release on 17th April via Launchpad+ in collaboration with EMI North.

Alongside the announcement, the band have unveiled their latest single, ‘Scour’, and confirmed an EU and UK headline tour for spring.

Frontman Jack Grant says of the track, “It sounded full because it sounded different to the rest of the record. It sounds more atmospheric and dramatic, but still has the repetitive element that makes it The 113.”

“It’s almost a list of things that creep me out,” he adds. “Our entire communication history is kept and stored for years. Things like ‘Find My Friends’, and recordings on personal CCTV and ring cameras of embarrassing moments that are now permanent. It’s all quite creepy really.”
