Robo have unveiled their new single ‘Fever Diva’

York-based art-rock ensemble Robo have unveiled their latest single, ‘Fever Diva’.

The group is fronted by singers and songwriters Francisco Garcia-Luengo, also known as Frank, and Eric Wolf Bell, who have been collaborating since their youth. Bassist Holly Brewer and drummer James Paton complete the group.

Reflecting on the band’s sound, Frank explains, “I am not sure where we fit in, with which genre,” adding that the band resist being pigeonholed. Eric adds, “We are not introspective or lost but travelling to somewhere, travelling to ourselves, seeing the world around us and getting there song by song.”

Robo’s signing with 25 Hour Convenience Store, overseen by Gary Powell of The Libertines, has led to the band recording at the Albion Rooms in Margate.
