Foo Fighters have released ‘Your Favorite Toy’, the first single from their upcoming 12th studio album of the same name.
Dave Grohl says, “‘Your Favorite Toy’ really was the key that unlocked the tone and energetic direction of the new album. We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new.”
The forthcoming album ‘Your Favorite Toy’ is set to be released on 24th April via Roswell Records/Columbia Records. It was recorded at home, co-produced by Foo Fighters and Oliver Roman, engineered by Oliver Roman, and mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent.

In support of the album, Foo Fighters will embark on their massive Take Cover world tour, beginning on 10th June at Unity Arena in Oslo. This marks a return to live performances after headline spots at US festivals Welcome to Rockville and Bottlerock. The band will also perform two shows at Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium on 25th and 27th June.
