The Orielles have unveiled their new single ‘Tears Are’

The Orielles have released a new single, ‘Tears Are’, from their forthcoming album ‘Only You Left’.

This marks their fourth studio album and is set to be launched on 13th March via Heavenly Recordings.

‘Tears Are’ is described by Esmé Dee Hand-Halford as an unanswered question, a half-phrase. “You could think of something deeply human. But you could also answer it in a completely linguistic sense and think of a tear as a symbol or an image.”

The album was recorded between Hamburg and the Greek island of Hydra, produced by Joel Anthony Patchett, and reflects a duality Esmé describes with imagery of “wood versus metal”.
