BTS have named their new album ‘Arirang’ after the Korean folk song

BTS have announced the title of their forthcoming album, ‘Arirang’, due 20th March.

The name is derived from a traditional Korean folk song known for its themes of connection, distance and reunion, with the record itself exploring BTS’ identity and roots.

The announcement of the album title follows the launch of digital billboards in major cities like New York, Tokyo, London, and Paris. These campaigns, initially launched in Seoul, highlight the band’s new logo.

BTS have also announced a global tour for 2026–2027, which will include 79 shows across 34 regions, covering Asia, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and more.
