Static Dress have announced their signing with Sumerian Records, marking the new chapter with the release of a new single, ‘human props’.
The band released their debut album, ‘Rouge Carpet Disaster’, in 2022, and are currently on tour across the UK and EU with Paleface Swiss and Stick To Your Guns.
On the signing, Sumerian Records president Shawn Keith stated, “As Sumerian Records celebrates 20 years, we will usher in a new era of authentic and unconventional talent. Static Dress represents the quality of artistry we want to support.” The band added, “Shawn and the rest of Sumerian have believed in Static Dress for years completely selflessly. Now, our paths have finally crossed at just the correct time, allowing us to execute this band in the way we always wanted to. No compromises, no forced ideas, no inauthenticities. They run a label like a label should be ran; actual people promoting music for fans, not just a wannabe money printing machine.”
