Kim Gordon has announced her third solo album, ‘PLAY ME’, for March

Kim Gordon is set to release her third solo album, ‘PLAY ME’, on 13th March via Matador Records.

The album continues Gordon’s exploration of art and noise. “We wanted the songs to be short,” Gordon comments on her collaboration with LA producer Justin Raisen. She adds, “I have to say, the thing that influenced me most was the news. We are in some kind of ‘post empire’ now, where people just disappear.”

The lead track, ‘NOT TODAY’, is accompanied by a short film directed by Rodarte fashion label founders Kate and Laura Mulleavy.

The tracklisting for ‘PLAY ME’ reads:

‘PLAY ME’
‘GIRL WITH A LOOK’
‘NO HANDS’
‘BLACK OUT’
‘DIRTY TECH’
‘NOT TODAY’
‘BUSY BEE’
‘SQUARE JAW’
‘SUBCON’
‘POST EMPIRE’
‘NAIL BITER’
‘BYEBYE25!’
