samxemma have released a new single, ‘Me forever :(‘

Manchester-based electronic/pop duo samxemma have unveiled their latest single ‘Me forever :(‘, available now via September Recordings.

This release follows their previous single ‘YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU’ and their summer EP ‘HOT PEOPLE MAKE HOT MUSIC’.

The song explores themes of digital melancholia and modern social paralysis. Emma explains, “‘Me forever :(‘ is the realisation that even if I wanted to drop everything in my life and “runaway”, I’d still be me everywhere I go. I’m me forever and nothing will ever change that, which is usually quite a scary thought for me.”
