Jimmy Eat World are going to mark their ‘Bleed American’ anniversary with exclusive UK shows

Jimmy Eat World are set to return to the UK for three headline shows celebrating the 25th anniversary of their album ‘Bleed American’.

The performances will commence on the 14th August at The Piece Hall in Halifax, followed by a show at Cardiff Castle on the 15th August, and culminating in their largest UK headline show to date at London’s Gunnersbury Park on the 16th August.

Joining Jimmy Eat World as special guests will be Rise Against, with additional support from The Get Up Kids and Jay Som, the latter performing in Cardiff and London only.

Jim Adkins, the band’s vocalist and guitarist, commented, “When we printed the last mix of Bleed American, we felt like we had achieved something great for ourselves. There was no barometer of how it would connect with people outside of the studio and we are still in awe with the life the record and songs have had since their original release. Bleed American is as much yours as it is ours, so we want to celebrate it with you all in a very special way.”

The dates read:

AUGUST
14 The Piece Hall, Halifax
15 Cardiff Castle, Cardiff
16 Gunnersbury Park, London

Tickets are scheduled to go on general sale from Friday, 5th December at 10am GMT, with an artist presale starting on Tuesday, 2nd December at 10am GMT.
