Stella Donnelly has unveiled the music video for ‘Standing Ovation’, a track from her latest album ‘Love and Fortune’.
The video, created in collaboration with her friend and bandmate Jack Gaby, showcases a lighthearted approach. Donnelly commented, “Jack Gaby and I had so much fun shooting this video clip, he went crazy with the special effects which made me lose my mind laughing so we decided to keep it all in there. Special mention to Yazz Bhandari and Marcel Tussie for playing hours of squash while we got the shots right.”
‘Love and Fortune’, written during a reflective period in Melbourne, Australia, captures themes of heartbreak and personal growth. It features contributions from longtime collaborators Marcel Tussie, Jack Gaby, and Julia Wallace, as well as new collaborators Sophie Ozard, Timothy Harvey, and Ellie Mason.
Donnelly has not long announced an extensive tour spanning Australia, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
