Nieve Ella has released a new single, ‘All My Mess’.
The introspective track follows the recent release of ‘Lucky Girl’. Produced by Iain Berryman, known for his work with Wolf Alice and Florence + The Machine, it was written entirely by Ella.
According to Nieve, “Three years ago I wrote this song in my room as a 19-year-old, at a time where I was so loved but still felt so insecure within myself.” She continues, “I was in my first ever relationship, constantly wondering why I was deserving of this love. I was self-sabotaging, leading with insecurities and found myself in a place where I couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror. It’s an apology for my flaws, as that’s all I could see at the time. As I let go of that version of me, I hope this song reaches anyone who needs to be told they are beautiful, even when they can’t see it themselves.”
The song is accompanied by a video directed by Millie Jamieson-Pond.
