Geese have shared a ‘From The Basement’ session produced by Nigel Godrich

Geese have released a new session as part of the ‘From The Basement’ series, produced by Nigel Godrich alongside James Chads and John Woollcombe.

‘From The Basement’ was launched in 2006, inspired by the 1970s music television programme ‘The Old Grey Whistle Test’.

Nigel Godrich stated, “The Old Grey Whistle Test was such an amazing snapshot of the time: you got to see the musicians, warts and all…. It seemed a shame to us that there wasn’t anything that really felt as honest as that any more.”

The series has featured exclusive performances from a wide range of artists including Radiohead, Idles, Beck, The White Stripes, Sonic Youth, The Fall, Fleet Foxes and PJ Harvey.
