Deap Vally’s Lindsey Troy has unveiled her debut solo single, ‘I’ve Seen The Willow Trees’

Lindsey Troy, known as part of the Los Angeles-based rock duo Deap Vally, has launched her solo career with the release of her debut single ‘I’ve Seen The Willow Trees’.

This new track, recorded at her home studio in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, is described by Troy as “about my love of nature – the profound effect it has had on my life – and my need to share that magic with my children,” Troy explains.

Reflecting on her decision to embark on a solo journey, Troy stated, “Fiercely loyal in my nature and a true band monogamist, I never felt compelled to make a solo record during the over-a-decade Deap Vally was actively making records and road-dogging it around the globe. But after having broken up over a year ago, I finally felt the calling, and had the words, the drive, and the courage to take the solo plunge.”
