The Cribs have released their new single ‘A Point Too Hard To Make’ and announced a major outdoor performance at Leeds Millennium Square on 11th July 2026.
This marks their return to the venue after a decade, following a previous performance with Thurston Moore. The single is part of their forthcoming album ‘Selling A Vibe’, set for release on 9th January 2026.
Pre-sale tickets for the Leeds show will be available from 29th October, with general sale starting on 31st October. ‘Selling A Vibe’ will be the band’s first album in over five years, following the release of their lead single ‘Summer Seizures’.
Gary Jarman, bassist and vocalist, comments on the new single, “All that 2000’s damage, basically. Small-town romantics – years spent longing for connection, escape, excitement – given in abundance, for an entire decade. What do you do when the party is over? Where does it leave you? We will let you know if/when we get there. We’ve still got each other though. That’s what this one is about, a bit of a kitchen-sinker, really.”
The Cribs have also announced a UK headline tour in 2026, with support from Courting. The dates read:
