South London’s SLEAZE have revealed their new single ‘Universal Adaptor’ and announced debut album ‘SLEAZE PLEAZE’

South London’s SLEAZE have unveiled their latest single ‘Universal Adaptor’, while also announcing their debut album ‘SLEAZE PLEAZE’, which will be released on 20th March via Agent Anonyme Recordings.

The track, recorded at RAK Studios and produced by Malcolm Doherty, follows their debut double A-side ‘Push Tuck’ / ‘Daffodils’, which featured in Lena Dunham’s Netflix series ‘Too Much’.

The band is fronted by Dave Ashby, who has also worked on Evan Dando’s forthcoming album and co-written with Saul Adamczewski for Insecure Men’s single ‘Time Is A Healer’. He says of the single:

“People aren’t shagging enough. They’re looking at their phones too much. Phones just drift into your hand, then your brain drifts into them. It’d solve a lot of problems if we focused on dancing, shagging, or whatever you want to do. Not staring at that screen. It’s about that, really.”
