British artist Sekou has unveiled plans for his forthcoming mixtape, ‘In A World We Don’t Belong Pt. 1’.
Sekou describes the mixtape as embodying “freedom and effortless soul,” aiming to capture an endless feeling. He reflects, “When I was making this music I really just wanted to be authentically myself – I always felt like an outsider growing up and I wanted to have music that I know other people would be able to put their stories through and, with the title, build a world where people felt understood. ‘In A World We Don’t Belong’ really sums up that feeling for me and each track is its own individual story.”
The project, set to feature five tracks, is out 14th November, and features previous singles ‘Catching Bodies’ and ‘Never Gunna Give You Up’.
