Sean Trelford has signed to Adventure Recordings and released his new track ‘Naked’

London-based artist Sean Trelford has announced his signing to Adventure Recordings / Island alongside sharing his new track ‘Naked’.

Accompanying the song is a music video directed by Charlie Drinkwater, drawing inspiration from the body horror style of David Cronenberg.

Performed, written, and produced by Trelford himself, he’s been composing music since the age of eight, influenced by artists such as Tame Impala, Deerhunter, and Grizzly Bear, as well as classical composers like Mahler and Schoenberg, and songwriting legends Paul McCartney and Brian Wilson.

“Naked is a song I wrote when in January 2025, it is a commentary on truth and lie in regards to relationships and intense emotions when feeling used or toyed with, not being understood or valued by yourself or a significant other. It is a deeply personal song that I produced, recorded and wrote,” he explains.

“The video has the motif of teeth falling out, an idea I thought of when I was 16, encountering so many people talking crap and I had recently read the Picture of Dorian Gray, relating to the image of one’s soul tarnishing through careless action and self-indulgence.”
