Øya Festival has announced its first wave of artists for the 2026 edition, set to take place from 12th to 15th August in Tøyen Park, Oslo. The Cure are confirmed to headline the opening night on 12th August, marking their only performance in Norway for 2026. Joining them as main support are Australian punk-rockers Amyl & The Sniffers.
Claes Olsen, founder of Øya Festival, shared his excitement about the announcement, stating, “Super excited with this first announcement, as The Cure has been one of my favourite bands since I was a teenager, and they keep on delivering mesmerising shows. Amyl and her band will also be a blast.”
