YONAKA are back and teasing a new album with their latest single ‘Problems’

YONAKA are back with their new single ‘Problems’.

This track marks the first release from the Brighton rock trio’s forthcoming second studio album, which is yet to be announced. The band, comprising Theresa Jarvis, George Edwards and Alex Crosby, have recently signed with Distiller Records.

Theresa explains, “‘Problems’ is about when love starts to turn a little bit ugly. And it was the only song that could open up this new era of YONAKA.” She elaborates on the thematic shift, noting, “This record’s about love but it’s not all gooey – it’s the dirty bits and the harsh bits that happen to everyone whether you admit it or not.”

YONAKA’s debut album ‘Don’t Wait Til Tomorrow’ was released in 2019, followed by the ‘Seize The Power’ mixtape and ‘Welcome To My House’ EP.
