Pet Shop Boys have confirmed the fifth instalment in their ‘Disco’ remix series, ‘Disco 5’

Pet Shop Boys are set to release ‘Disco 5’, the latest entry in their long-running series of dance-focused albums, on 21st November via Parlophone Records.

The 12-track collection collates recent Pet Shop Boys remixes for artists including Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Tina Turner, Claptone and Wolfgang Tillmans, alongside a rework of their own ‘Dreamland’ featuring Olly Alexander.

Also included are the PSB-produced ‘I’m in Love With a German Film Star’ by Sam Taylor-Johnson, originally issued on Kompakt in 2008, and Carroll Thompson’s ‘Let the Music Play’, produced by the duo in the early ‘90s for the soundtrack to ‘The Crying Game’. The album features Pet Shop Boys’ remix of Sleaford Mods’ cover of ‘West End Girls’, and the PSB/Soft Cell collaboration ‘Purple Zone’.

Pet Shop Boys released their 15th studio album, ‘Nonetheless’, in April 2024. A special expanded edition followed in November 2024. Their ‘Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live’ tour continued across the UK and Europe this summer, with further dates in Japan scheduled for 2026.
