The Antlers tease a looming threat with their new single ‘Something In The Air’

The Antlers have released new single ‘Something In The Air’ from their first studio album in over four years, ‘Blight’, which arrives 10th October via Transgressive Records. A visualiser accompanies the track.

Led by singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Peter Silberman, the song explores an unnamed threat and builds towards an orchestral jolt. The album was first introduced earlier this summer with ‘Carnage’.

“‘Something in the Air’ is about a looming threat that can take many forms,” says Peter Silberman. “Precautions that would have seemed strange a decade ago have become ordinary routines – a new normal set against a backdrop of creeping dread. Meanwhile, doom lies dormant, waiting to erupt.”

Additionally, The Antlers have announced a UK and EU tour for March 2026, including a headline date at London’s EartH Theatre.

The dates read:

10 Strange Brew, Bristol, UK
11 EartH Theatre, London, UK
